But seriously, ignorance is bliss!
Before we had Enron and Sarbanes-Oxley and Elliot Spitzer, life was grand. The stock market was booming. People were happy. Life was good.
Then everyone had to know everything about everyone, and trusted nobody.
Now we have Paparazzis stalking celebrities, billions wasted on compliance of SEC regulations, Martha Stewart fighting with Donald Trump, and CEO's suffering with 7 figure salaries.
Can't we go back to the old days? I long for good old fashioned white collar crime, and everyone living in a bubble of ignorant bliss.
