Jane Lake and Mel Gibberish!
I'm sorry. I can't one day read about a man driving drunk, making anti Semitic remarks and then weeks later take him seriously on issues regarding Iraq or care in the slightest about his new movie. It doesn't matter to me whether or not I agree with what he may be currently saying or whether or not he may be a talented film maker. Unfortunately, people don't change overnight.
I tried to read the article but all I could see was blah, blah, blah. I am typically a forgive and forget person, and am willing to give people many chances, but I think the old adage may be true here when I say:
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me!
You are so right.
You are so unflawed yourself, you are able to pass judgment on another due to imperfections you think you see.
Try differentiating others rather then being judgmental and you may realize we do not always believe what we say or do.

I like your blog. When it comes to old Mel though, I have to fight you. Mel has done things others were afraid to take on.. They said he was crazy. well he just might be. He was well rewarded for his craziness. He is entitled to his opinions and he is entitled to get drunk.. If he regretfully gets drunk and recites his opinions, well....He is entitled to that. I bid you good day, keep blogging MOCEANS2004@YAHOO.COM
