Jane Lake and Sesame Street!
I was watching Sesame Street (it's never too late to learn!) and there was Ruben Studdard (American Idol) singing the alphabet with Elmo! That is something I always loved about the Street. They would have excellent singers singing children's songs and talking to puppets. Does it get any more fun than that?
I would love to sing the alphabet with Zoey someday. (Everyone wants to do something with Elmo so I figured I would give Zoey a whirl!) I don't think you can say you have really made it until you do Sesame Street. Venus Williams played tennis with Elmo and Elmo won. What a match!
They now have these little vignettes of famous people speaking about how Sesame Street affected their lives. I actually was not a big Sesame Street watcher when I was a kid, but even when you catch a snippet here or there it gets inside you and makes you smile.
Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo just came out with a book. I'm sure its a must read! I will certainly be waiting in line for my extreme Tickle Me Elmo!
LOL, I was flipping through the channels and came across this episode of Sesame Street. It put a smile on my face and I continued to watch it, I think Ruben sang the alphabet nicely. I found myself thinking how I never really like Sesame Street much when I was a child but how it gave me this sweet feeling. I even wondered if there was any other adults out there who would stop to watch a little of Sesame Street and reflect, I guess I'm not alone!

My youngest is too old now to watch Sesame Street, but every time I would hear the opening jingle, it would take me back to when I was a kid. Memories.
